Tolerance

Tolerance

This photo reminds me more a scene out of Manic Street Preachers' "If You Tolerate This, Then Your Children Will Be Next" meshing with Pet Shop Boys' "I Don't Know What You Want But I Can't Give It Anymore." That's Kanah posing. Absolutely miserable in that jacket, I might add. We choose one of the hottest days in Denver to do this.

Eeek, that looks uncomfortable for sure. It's freezing now though so I could use a jacket like that :D

Nope. Everyone kept their coats on all day. Well, save for me. I took mine off when we went for drinks with a Welshman before the show and when I got to the venue before Nico Vega opened things. The girls were in faux leather and PVC. I was trapped in a wool coat. We all have tattoos on our upper arms though, so we suffer through jackets for fear of marring the tribute of the art piece.

I'm sure if she could she'd gladly give it to you. She can't stand the cut of the coat.

haha, you're so cute going around taking all these "scene" photos. in your mind you were thinking you were one of those mod fashion photographers who used to say, "that's the stuff, Twiggy. Give me more." etc. i love it.

doyou like Thursday? i just saw them a couple weeks ago. fantastic.

Cool picture... Oh, I love the Manics phrase "If you tolerate this...". I reminded them the last time I went to a museum to see an exposition about the Spanish Civil War propaganda, but I didn't see that poster, what a pity.

You will look so great with a suit tomorrow. Is a Speech Meet as a meeting with old friends of your School?

kisses and enjoy

Thanks! It's gaining a lot of recognition which is ace. Appearantly there's other people out there doing the whole PSB thing. We've recently hooked up with the Go West Girls and we're trying to get tied with the elusive Very Boys. It's crazy. We're all meeting up in London in 2011.

I used to listen to Thursday a lot in high school. :^) What was their show like? For some reason I imagine lasers.

I recently wrote a scene to "If You Tolerate This Then Your Children Will Be Next." It was exciting. Around here the Spanish Civil war stuff never makes the rounds. Which sucks because it's a piece of history I've always wanted further knowledge of.

And thank you! I love wearing suits but I never have a chance to wear one. A speech meet is where high school forensics students compete in different events such as debate, creative story telling, impromtu speaking, acting, interprutation, ect. It's really neat. I was heavily involved in it when I was still in school. I really miss it a lot. Going to the judges meeting last night brought back a bunch of old memories about having to get up early and put on my best best clothes to perform for eight hours. :^) Now I get to judge it. No clue what events they're sticking me with, but I avoided the debate training. I'm a bit too fickle.
